Appealing a Registration Decision

The NSAMRT cannot change their eligibility criteria but will consider any additional information an applicant may be able to provide if they feel their application should be reconsidered.

Applicants may provide a written request to the Registrar asking for an appeal of a Credentials Committee decision within 30 days of receiving the Committee's recommendation.  The Board will appoint a registration appeal committee to hear the appeal within 60 days of receiving the request. The applicant may provide additional written documentation and/or may appear before the appeals committee with or without legal counsel.  The applicant will receive a response from the Appeals Committee within 30 days of receiving the request for reassessment. The appeal's committee decision will be considered final.
